August 11, 2010: I spent a great deal of time (almost 10 months) working with a dedicated group of patients and advocates and Myeloma Canada. We lobbied to have Revlimid approved for Manitoba multiple myeloma patients who required it. This goal was achieved on August 11, through the support of thousands of Manitobans.
